Construction of a multi-purpose vessel for the Estonian Border Guard

TRINITI advised the Estonian Ministry of the Interior and the Police and Border Guard Administration in legal matters related to the construction and delivery of a new multi-purpose pollution abatement vessel by a Finnish shipyard Uudenkaupungin Työvene OY. The vessel PVL-101, named “Kindral Kurvits” after one of the founders of the Estonian Border Guard, is 63.6 m long and has patrol, SAR, fire-fighting, icebreaking and pollution abatement capabilities at a cost of 34 M EUR co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
